    • Hey Carlotta, definitively, that’s all the fun in keyword research, I think. 🙂 Ahrefs is certainly a great tool, it can be very expensive though as it’s a monthly payment, though. I believe you can still use their free version with less functions, it’s what I’m using at the moment.

      I hope this helps!

  4. Ilias

Hi Anh and thanks for sharing. I am using Jaaxy to find low competition keywords for my blog. The other tools in the list are also great. I am a beginner but I already know about most of them. The problem is that I do not want to start spending money before I get some results but I will try Ahrefs for free.

    • Anh Nguyen

Ilias, I totally get that. It’s actually best to scale your business as you go, starting with free tools and Jaaxy is more than enough for you to get you started. 🙂

  5. Robert Allan

    Hello Anh
In your opinion what, if any is the difference between free and paid SEO Tools such as ones for Keywords?
I use two free keyword tools every day and can rank an article/blog on Google within minutes of publishing.
Therefore my question does hold water.
Why pay (in some cases a lot of money) each month for something you can get for nothing?
I have asked this question many times without receiving a definitive reply.
I look forward to yours if you have one.
    Robert Allan

    • Anh Nguyen

      Hey there, Robert.

Great question! Keyword research is like digging for goldmines, there are many ways to go about it.

If you go for low-competitive keywords, you can do pretty well with free tools. But for example, you want to rank for more competitive terms, then you’ll need more robust tools to analyse the keyword (for their backlink profile, Page Rank, Domain Authority, etc.) to do the job, which will not be possible with just research alone. So this entirely depends on your SEO strategy.

      I hope this helps!

  6. Hello Anh
Great post! The headline caught my attention and it was a insightful and very informative read. I’m a huge fan of Jaaxy but my free trial is almost over so I have been sitting on the fence and reading reviews because I have really been doing manual keyword research. This SheerSEO seems like a great option. Again thanks for such a value-packed review that enlightened me of all my options.

JAAXY is well featured in less amount, many SEO Analysis tools assures that this one is best for top result for any keywords but this tools is used by my friend, according to him it really works for better result. SEO SPYGLASS is quite advance but it cost more but this tool is single time payment mode so it must be favorable.

AHREFS is really good tool to renowned SEO backlink checker and competitor research tool. I have used this and it always comes with more features in their update, its site, domain and batch analysis is appreciable features. Overall these all tools are great for better productivity in result.

Eventually, thanks for exploring these 10 SEO Tools, they are going to very helpful for many peoples. Looking forward to your positive reply.

  8. Kenny Lee

I think a website can only be boosted when it is sufficiently built up with a significant number of contents. I’m not sure whether mine fits that category or it will just be investing in tools that will only works for me in a later stage of my website building. SheerSEO is what I will be looking at if I were to opt for one as in the end it’s about getting the right ROI for my website.

    • Anh Nguyen

Kenny, SEO tools are usually built to either help you find the right keywords to create your content around or promote it. That said, it’s best not to over-invest on tools when you start and just stick with manual methods until you start seeing profits.

      I hope this helps!

  9. Jerry

Very informative list of the best seo ranking tools out there. I personally have used Jaaxy and find it to be a wonderful tool to create lists of low competition keywords. Ranking on Google is or should be the goal of anyone with a website.

I also loved Jaaxy for the price point and would be my recommendation for those on a low budget. Thanks for the info again

    • Anh Nguyen

Aww, thanks Jerry. I’m a fan of Jaaxy as well, it has helped me rank for several keywords and more importantly taught me how to do long-tail keyword research correctly. 😉

  10. Owain

As I am new to the affiliate marketing world this was a great read for me. I found it quite informative. I was quite interested in your first package you have there. The Jaaxy one. I am using the free trail a but I did wonder whether to pay per month. Is it worthwhile to spend a little at this stage or should I just wait until I become a little more adept to this marketing world?

    • Anh Nguyen

Hey there Owain, great question. I believe it’s better to focus on learning when you started, using platforms like Wealthy Affiliate, and then only invest on keyword research tools to optimise your SEO and online marketing efforts later on when you start seeing profits.

      I hope this helps!

  11. Rohill

Hello, loved the content! I like how you have given a lot of SEO sites, there are so much to choose from! But overall this site has help me in finding the best niches. Aww, thanks Rohill for the compliments. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about building your niche site, I am always happy to help. 😉

  12. Derek Marshall

    Hi Anh,

I am a huge fan of your site as it is a great resource for bloggers be they experienced or “budding bloggers” like me.

Some of the tools you have mentioned I have actually tried but where they all fail, and do please correct me if I am mistaken is that no keyword research tool has the ability to create additional accounts/ login details for a virtual assistant to do their own keyword research and create articles for your site.

    • Anh Nguyen

Thanks Derek for the kind words! About your question, there aren’t indeed any keyword research tools I know that allows you to create additional accounts at no add-up costs, unfortunately. 🙁

  13. Moussa

Nice article, I found it very interesting and it was a big help to me. I think I’m going to use Jaxxy because it’s at a good price and has great features. I also really like your site and it looks very professional! Do you have any tips on how to rank higher on Google? I’m having a bit of a problem with that.

    • Anh Nguyen

Moussa, there are a couple of ways you can do to rank of Google. Either you can compete with other sites for highly competitive terms via link building or go for low competitive keywords. I highly recommend going for low competitive ones if you are just starting out. Here is a guide on how to use Jaaxy to rank on Google. 🙂

      I hope this helps!

  14. Eduardo

    What a valuable guide!

I am new to blogging and internet marketing and now I am building my website. Only recently I learned about SEO and its importance for ranking your content.

I already knew Jaaxy, which I tried and recommend, but learning of so many other alternatives was great! There is even one there which is free. Thank you for the find!

    • Anh Nguyen

Aww, thanks Eduardo! I’m glad you found the post useful. 🙂

  15. Hi Anh,
Most of the tools I am familiar but the sheershare is new to me, although you have collected a very good list of tools.
Thanks for the great share man. And keep up the good work.

    • Robin, by sheershare you meant SheerSEO, right? I think it’s a nice tool for newcommers for a good price. Either way, I am glad you enjoyed the post. 😀

  16. Alberto

I congratulate you for this great review work on these SEO tools that facilitate our work.

I think it is a great contribution on your part and you give options for different budgets as the economic Jaaxy.

By the way, you have reviewed WebFire 3.0, is somewhat expensive ($197 per month or $997 a year) but I think it is a fabulous tool.

    • Anh Nguyen

Thanks Alberto for the kind words! This is the first time I heard of WebFire 3.0 to be honest. It’s sure is a very high-end tool. I’ll be sure to look into it. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  17. Michel

A great mix of tools here, some I have heard of and others not. I am a firm believer in Jaaxy, but do you think it is a good idea to get paid subscriptions to any of the others.

I often log into Majestic SEO to check my sites, but use the free basic version. I sometimes wonder if I have enough tool wise.

    • Anh Nguyen

Michel, SEO tools can make your life that much easier however, I think it’s important to realize that you don’t need to invest a ton in them head on. Until your business is profitable, I suggest just using one tool and then use other free options and scale as you go. (Here is a list of affordable SEO tools that are under $50 per month you can also check out.)

      I hope this helps!

  18. Hey Anh,

There are many bloggers who are striving to boost the SEO of their blog. But few are there with the power to do that.

The tools mentioned above are an effective source to see the stats and the backlinks of your website. I have used AHREFS and it’s pretty great.

    Great post indeed.
    Have a nice day.

    • Aww, thanks Ravi for the kind comment. I am a big fan of Ahrefs as well, their backlink profile is really beast!
