Woorank is very complete. I consider it important to know the trends in digital marketing. No matter what industry you are a part of, SEO services are effective. Any entrepreneur must know how to promote their business online. I am a tax adviser, so I am constantly in contact with potential clients. I have tried to make my business more visible than my competition, but I haven’t seen any results. In a seminar, I learned about SEO and how it helps build positive results for websites. I contacted a local company called Dalai Group. They focused on the priorities of my business and created a strategy to achieve our company goals. They recommended SEO assistance, specifically for my business location in San Diego. I requested their services for San Diego SEO ( because they were familiar with my company, SEO services, and the San Diego area. Sales increased 45%, but the best part is the number of satisfied customers who trust my business. If you are in a similar situation, I recommend finding professionals in digital marketing.

    • Paula, it’s definitively another great option to finding professionals. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Jun Bao

Thanks man, Imma start a blog soon but i found you from BlogTyrant,
anyways I was confuse about SEO but now this clears things up.
BTW I’m mix viet/chinese and some people mistaken me for a girl,
I though you were a girl but your name is a guy.
    Cam on ban!

    • Hey Jun! Rất vui được biết bạn. 🙂 SEO can be hard at first, especially since there are no official schools to learn about it, what I found helped a lot to commit yourself to a great course (I chose Wealthy Affiliate) then read as much as you can from the best of the best in the business like Backlinko, Moz and of course, Ramsay from Blog Tyrant!

      I hope this helps.

  3. I am searching for backlink related software but I don’t want to spend money on monthly basis. Google suggest me your page and found SEO SPYGLASS fit in my criteria. Thanks for suggestion and its helpful. Can you suggest some training videos and guides about this software?

    • Hey there, Shaikh. SEO Spyglass has a rich video tutorial library built in-house that you can find here.

      I hope this helps!

  4. Hal's Review of Body Weighing Scale Ebsite

Nice, concise and inclusive reviews of these SEO tools. You really took the time to flesh out the features and benefits, pros and cons of each one. Personally, I’ve been on the fence about getting Jaaxy, but as a member of Wealthy Affiliate, there is the option to use their free keyword tool, so I’ve been holding out for the time being. I was actually hoping you included that option in your SEO tools review. Maybe consider an article about it for a future blog post?
    Thanks, Anh!

    • Anh Nguyen

Hal, the integrated keyword research tool that comes with Wealthy Affiliate is great and I’m still using that from time to time. I think it’s more of a course, community though, instead of an full-fledged SEO tool that’s why I didn’t add it to the list. Thanks for suggesting!

  5. Hi Anh,
It is my first visit to your site, and it is amazing!
These tools you have listed above are great.
Some people think that it is enough to use the free versions, but paying for one or two premium tools will really make a difference.

    Keep it up!

    • Thanks for dropping by, Hussain! You’ve got a point there, investing a a great tool can help you save time and energy in the long run. Then again, I think it’s best not to go overboard and invest on something way out of your budget from the start.

  6. Ben

I think I will check out SheerSEO, simply because it is cheapest. Do you have more info on which one you recommend over the other ones? Because it is hard for a beginner like me to be able to tell the differences between all these tools, but some are certainly better than others.

    • Anh Nguyen

Ben, my most recommended tool is SEO Spyglass. However it really depends on your strategy to determine which tool is right for you. For example SheerSEO is optimised for tracking your ranking position while SEO Spyglass is best for link building.

      • Great work here! Comprehensive review work! Thank you for these information!
Please, what seo tool among these will you recommend for a news website?

        • Hey David, thanks! I don’t think are a lot of distinctions between which type of site you have versus which SEO tool to use. It would depend on your SEO strategies and what you’re looking for out of it. If you are looking to do a lot of keyword research for long tail keywords, I’d recommend Jaaxy. On the other hand, if you are looking to monitor your ranking, backlink profile, I’d recommend you give SEO Spyglass a try. 🙂

          I hope this helps!

  7. Anh,

You’re killing it, dear. I highly recommend your blog. Expect me to mention your blog in upcoming articles on my personal blog. You got writing skills, you have the readers’ engagement ability, you have a clean blog design, and you’re pretty much all set to make this blog very successful.

And keep making such a useful content. I’m sure some of my friends on Facebook and Twitter will love this article.

    • Aww, Hassaan thank you for the kind words! I’m flattered to hear from someone as experienced as you. 😀 I hope the post will help some of your friends find a good SEO tool for them.

  8. wagreatstuff

This is a great compilation. However, for newbies to spend even at $20 per month can be quite steep. Since SEO Spyglass has a free version (with limited features) I will give it a shot. By the way, if I continue to use the All In One SEO that I have (free version) in my WordPress, will it be sufficient?

    • Anh Nguyen

Hey there Wagreatstuff, it’s best to only start investing on SEO tools after you see profit or if you have a budget for it. Otherwise I recommend you use free versions of SEO Spyglass and Ahrefs. 🙂

All In One SEO is a on-page SEO optimization tool that’s different from these, which are analytical tools that allows you to dig deeper into your data and rankings to better your promotional and keyword research efforts.

      I hope this helps!

  9. Juraida

Hi, thanks for the great info! Currently I am using only Google Analytics for the SEO purposes. Let’s say I decided to purchase SEO Spyglass as you recommended, do I have to get any other tools also to maximize my SEO analysis? If yes, what are the other software or tools that can complement Spyglass?

    • Anh Nguyen

Juraida, SEO Spyglass is a great choice for those interested in link building, if you aren’t then it won’t come in handy. There are a bunch of datas out there and it’s all about getting the ones that are aligned with your goals.

  10. Carlos

Anh, this is a great compilation.
I use to work with the free option of SEMrush, but it’s a little bit limited and sure not the best one for starters. You need to have some knowledge to use it or spend a few hours learning how to.
Now is time to move forward and find the SEO tool that can help me better in my daily work. I’ll check all your list and see which one is the best for me.

    • Anh Nguyen

Aww, I’m glad to help Carlos! SEMrush is a great competitive analysis, but it can be expensive for individuals or small businesses. Still, a nifty SEO tool can save up a lot of time and money in the long run. I hope you’ll find something for you among this list of affordable SEO tools!

  11. Hi Anh,
Great list of SEO Tools. My personal favorite is Screaming Frog SEO Spider. It’s free and you can enter any url and it will fetch a lot of data for you. You should try it out sometimes or watch a quick YouTube video to see how it works.

    • Raul, thanks for sharing! I’ve heard good things about Screaming Frog but have not tried it myself. I definitively will. 🙂

  12. Will

Wow, I never realized that there was so many SEO websites out there. The one that I use is Jaaxy and am very happy with it. I find out how my pages are ranked in Google and mainly use it for keyword use. I noticed you recommend SEO Spyglass as your number one. I was wondering if the only reason you like this one was because of the backlinking? Is there other qualities Spyglass has that others don’t? Thank you so much for the information you have shared.

    • Anh Nguyen

Will, I like SEO Spyglass because it’s an efficient SEO tool to check backlinks and it comes with a much more reasonable price than any others in the market. 🙂

  13. Sonny

Cool I never thought of incorporating SEO software tools, but looking over at the websites and your reviews on these SEO sites I can see how it makes sense.I like the SEO Spyglass you recommend and the one time payment the company offers. I was just wondering does the software track your competitors keywords also?

    • Anh Nguyen

Sonny, yes, the best part about most keyword trackers is that you can also track your competitors keywords. 🙂 That said if you are looking to track ranking positions, you’d want to check SheerSEO out. SEO Spyglass is a backlink analysis tool.
